Assistant Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) Kemal Izat Mufti on Tuesday strongly condemned the suicide attacks and hooliganism against humanity, and termed it "against the holy spirit of Islam". "Though it was my short-term visit to AJK but I maintained a healthy relationship with the leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and held a brief meeting with the refugees of Indian held Kashmir", he said. Kamel also appreciated particularly the Prime Minister of AJK, whom facilitated his visit more productive and worthwhile.
Mufti said that he obtained the ground realities in a more easier way owing to meeting arranged with AJK President Zulqarnain and also meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani. He emphasised that the final solution for any problem rested on political dialogue and "history is witnessed that any coercive action proposed by the Super Powers could not resultant for the viable solution rather it created more mess in the world", he said.
