Hindu extremist organisation, Shiv Sena has threatened fresh economic blockade of occupied Kashmir if Indian companies bypass Jammu distributors and directly supply goods to the Kashmir Valley. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, Shiv Sena's Jammu Chief, Sanjay Gupta said that Shiv Sainks would line up the highway right from Delhi to Lakhanpur border to stop trucks supplying goods to the valley.
"Shiv Sena cadres from Delhi to Lakhanour will be mobilised to stop trucks going to occupied Kashmir directly," he warned. Gupta also threatened Indian companies, which were thinking of opening up clearing and forwarding offices in Srinagar. He said that these companies should keep in mind that if they tried to operate in occupied Kashmir they would have to face protests in Jammu and other parts of India.
