The Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco) has decided to re-launch disconnection and recovery campaign against all defaulting Federal and Provincial Government departments and private customers. A spokesman of Pesco, Shaukat Afzal Khan, told APP here on Friday that the company had again and again reminded the defaulting departments to clear their outstanding arrears but still a few have failed to clear their arrears.
They are directed to clear all their arrears within 10 days, failing which their power supply would be disconnected without any further notice and will not be restored till they clear outstanding arrears, he said. Pesco is facing huge financial crisis, resultantly it faces lots of hardships in meeting its development expenditures.
He directed the defaulting government departments and private customers to clear their outstanding arrears within 10 days otherwise their power supply would be disconnected without any further notice and would not restored till clearing of their outstanding arrears.
"All Federal, Provincial and Local Bodies departments and private consumers are once again requested in their own interest to clear their outstanding arrears henceforth and pay their electricity bills in time so that their power supply may not be disconnected," he concluded.
