Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Monday released 178,061 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs was recorded at 103,126 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam was recorded at 1504.16 feet. The present water level at the dam was 135 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet.
Water inflow in the dam was recorded at 55800 cusecs, while outflow was 110,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1189.55 feet, which was 149.55 feet higher than the dead level of 1,040 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded at 19,265 cusecs, while outflow was 40,000 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 11,900 cusecs and 16,161 cusecs respectively.
