Indonesia shares ended 0.6 percent higher on Wednesday as investors hunted bargains amid renewed confidence in the US financial rescue plan, dealers said. The Jakarta Composite Index rose 10.45 points to 1,883.55 in moderate volume, off an intraday low of 1,855.02. Heavyweight Telkom climbed 2.2 percent to 6,900 rupiah, car distributor Astra added 1.7 percent to 17,600 but coal miner Bumi fell five percent to 3,700.
