Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Friday released 174,003 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs was recorded at 90,950 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam was recorded at 1497.17 feet.
The present water level at the dam was 128.17 feet higher than the dead level of 1,369 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded at 49,900 cusecs while outflow was 110,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1186.80 feet, which was 146.8 feet higher than the dead level of 1,040 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded at 15047 cusecs while outflow was 38,000 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 11,500 cusecs and 14,503 cusecs respectively.
