KAMPALA: Uganda's coffee exports jumped 42 percent in May from a similar period last year, lifted by extra yields from new maturing trees, state-run Uganda Coffee Development Authority said on Thursday.
Shipments of the beans last month reached 408,454 60-kilogramm bags, up from 286,758 bags exported in the same month last year, its said.
