Al-Mustafa Welfare Society had distributed monthly ration and pair of clothes, worth Rs 1.7 million among 300 needy families of Orangi Town, Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Korangi and slums around Gulshan-e-Iqbal during the month of Ramzan.
Al-Mustafa Welfare Society sources here on Tuesday said cash money was also handed to families in need, after necessary verification and confirmation. Al Mustafa Welfare Society Chairman Haji Mohammad Hanif Taiyab appreciated the volunteers for their self-less efforts in collecting funds, identifying and finding out genuinely needy families and ensuring availability of needed assistance to them.
He also felicitated Ahmed Shakoor (President of the Society), Abdul Ghani Suleiman (General Secretary) and other office bearers for their supervision and commitment to the cause of human service.
