ZTBL set to achieve Rs 72 billion lending target

Zarai Taraqqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), a major source of institutional credit for agriculture sector, is poised to achieve its lending target of Rs 72 billion through its various new initiatives.
According to an announcement of the ZTBL issued on Tuesday, in pursuit to provide in time credit to the small farmers, the bank is launching its "Zarkhaiz One Window Operation" for provision of production loans for the purchase of quality seeds, fertiliser, pesticides etc. ZTBL President Muhammad Zaka Ashraf will formally inaugurate the "Zarkhaiz-One Window Operation" on October 6 at Ludewala Bangla, Zonal office, Sargodha. On the occasion, the bank would also organise an event for the public awareness.
