The leadership of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has expressed their satisfaction over the decision of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to extend the last date up to October 31, 2008 for filing of Income Tax Returns.
Earlier, the last date was September 30, 2008 and it was extended for one more month on the request and pursuance of KCCI leadership, says a statement from the Chamber here on Tuesday.
KCCI President, Anjum Nisar , Senior Vice President , Muhammad Javed Bilwani, Vice President Mohammed Ali and members of the Chamber's Managing Committee thanked the Chairman FBR to facilitate the business community by providing more time for submission of the returns. The President KCCI hoped that the businessmen will take the advantage of extension in deadline and file the returns within stipulated time. Notification in this regard will be issued by FBR soon, he said.
