At least three pro-Taliban militants were killed and one was arrested in a clash between Tribal Lashkar and local Taliban in Feroz Khel area of Orakzai Agency on Tuesday.
According to officials of the agency administration, the local pro-Taliban militants tried to abduct a local tribal elder Malik Gulistan but tribal lashkar resisted and opened fire at them, killing at least three Taliban militants and arrested their another colleague.
Meanwhile, in another incident some unknown militants have blown up one bridge and two Levis check-posts in Oblan area of the agency. As a result an alternative bridge constructed on a road leading to Orakzai Agency was destroyed as a result of the blast. The militants also detonated two Levis check-posts in the area. However, no loss of life was reported.
