8,000 cops to perform security duty on Eid

Over 8000 police officers and cops would be on security duties at all Masajid, Imambargahs, Eidgahs, shopping centres, and other important bazars as part of extraordinary security measures taken on the occasion of Eidul Fitr on the directive of Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfikar Mirza.
IG Police Sultan Salahuddin Babar Khattak said here on Tuesday that some 329 police mobiles and 284 motorycle-riding police would be on patrolling duty throughout the city and some 20 platoons have been kept in reserve for the all the zones.
