Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with usual enthusiasm and religious fervour in Sialkot, Daska, Pasrur, Zafarwal, Sambrial and Ugoki areas of Sialkot district on Wednesday. The Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were offered at different mosques and open places in the city and other parts of the district.
On this occasion strict security measures were adopted by the district administration for maintaining law and order in the district. On this occasion special prayers were offered for the unity, prosperity and solidarity of the country as well as for the early liberation of Indian held Kashmir in all mosques of Sialkot district.
Most of the people including women and youngsters celebrate their Eid with friends and kith and ken in parks after Eid prayers while great rush was witnessed at bakeries and sweet shops of the city. Meanwhile, it was observed that a large number Sialkot was flooded with on Eid day with varity of beggars.
