MNA Mir Munawar Ali Khan Talpur has said that trade between Pakistan and India via Khokhrapar-Monabao will be a gift for the people of Sindh and Rajisthan and hindrances between starting Thar coal power plant have been removed by present government.
This he expressed while talking to media men and people who came at his native village Mir Ji Landhi to greet him Eid-ul-Fiter. He further told that present government has vowed to give importance to agriculture sector on priority basis in this context small industrial units will be installed to improve the living standard of people.
He told that results of hectic efforts of present government will be received soon with regard to elevating existing inferior complex among the Baloch. He told that for last 60 years Balochs have been victimised but now time of its remedy has come. He told that modern and well-equipped airport is being set up at Islamkot for easy access to Thar coal and metro gauge track from Mirpurkhas to Naukot will be upgraded to broad gauge.
He told that work on gas project for Kot Ghulam Muhammad and Samaro will soon start, there after Umerkot will be provided gas facility. Replying to a question he said that people of Umerkot titled Shaheed Benazir Bhutto "Marvi Maleer Jee" therefore on the demand of people of Umerkot modern Shaheed Benazir Park will be set-up at Umerkot. He wished to expedite the delayed work of Marvi Stadium soon.
He told that present government is committed to provide security and better facilities to journalists, soon journalists' colony will be built at the plot of journalists' colony Umerkot. He further told that for elevating poverty hard working, intelligent, brilliant and poor students will be sent abroad by present government for higher education and jobs.
