People belonging to different walks of life have appreciated the efforts of Rescue 1122 teams, Punjab government emergency services for extending quick relief to the victims of any accidents during Eid-ul-Fitr. The victims who received minor injuries in different accidents were given prompt medical assistance by the teams however; no major incident took place during the Eid days.
Rescue 1122 sources told the press on Friday that they took care of about 125 cases most of them being one wheeling by motorcyclists. The injured were admitted into different hospitals while some of them were in critical condition, said Muhammad Arshad an official of the emergency service.
The Director General, Dr Rizwan Naseer had already instructed 1122 staff to provide immediate service to the victims of any possible accident during the Eid ul Fitr holidays, he added. Meanwhile, relatives of the victims have hailed the efforts and efficient service of the Rescue 1122 teams for their quick and prompt action in providing services to the needy.
