Through your esteemed daily, I congratulate the City District Government Karachi for making good arrangements to control traffic during Ramazan with the help of volunteers, due to which no major traffic jam was witnessed anywhere in the city in the holy month. I also congratulate and salute all the volunteers for the tremendous job they have done.
It is also suggested and requested that the city government make a comprehensive plan to continue these arrangements on a permanent basis by creating jobs for the youths. In this regard the city government can contact affluent, multinational organisations and KCCI with its plan and convince them to share the burden of the wages and salaries of these youths. By taking these steps, precious time of the people could be saved and the ambulances and other emergency service providing agencies could perform their duties efficiently.
