Former federal minister Shamim Siddiqui on Wednesday escaped a cross firing between two "Paktoon groups" in the limits of Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police station. Police sources told Business Recorder that two "Paktoon groups" having some land dispute exchanged heavy firing.
Siddiqui was travelling on the same route when his car came under the firing, but Siddiqui remained unhurt. When contacted, MQM spokesman confirmed that some bullets hit Siddiqui's car but he was safe in the incident.
