Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman on Thursday reiterated the firm resolve of the government to stand undeterred against terrorism. "The government and the people of Pakistan cannot be terrorised from blasts. Nobody would be allowed to challenge democracy and solidarity of the country," she said, while condemning the unfortunate incident of blast at Islamabad Police Line.
The Minister said: "If the terrorists think, they can terrorise the government and the people of Pakistan, I state, we shall not retreat from fighting out terrorism." She said it was an attack on democracy and the stability of the country but the government is committed to wipe out terrorism. She said the government was vigilant to such happenings and would continue its struggle against terrorism. "We cannot be pushed back. We are committed to fight out this menace."
