People of Pakistan will observe today with all solemnity the 57th death anniversary of their first Prime Minister, Liaquat Ali Khan, assassinated on October 16, 1951, at Company Bagh (Liaquat Bagh), Rawalpindi, while addressing a public meeting.
Citizens of Karachi are expected to visit the Mazar in large number, to offer Fateha and pay tribute to the martyred Prime Minister of Pakistan. The Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board through a notification, has directed concerned authorities to make all required arrangements for Death Anniversary of Quaid e Millat, Liaquat Ali Khan on Thursday.
Nation that celebrated 113th birth anniversary of Quaid e Millat on October1 will observe his 57th death anniversary on October 16 (today). Concerned officials have been asked to ensure arrangements for Quran Khawani and fateha and dua on the occasion. Cleaning of entire area in and around the grave hall; paint and polish work as required; placement of wreath-stand at the grave hall has been ensured for the day.
