Flour dealer has informed that the flour prices have started to stabilise in NWFP after Punjab resumed flour supply to the province last week. Talking to a private television channel, dealer said about 83 dealers had been issued permits for the import of flour from Punjab due to which prices in Peshawar and other parts of province had started to reduce.
The prices of 20kilogram fine flour and super fine flour bags in the province ranged from Rs 760 to Rs 860 and Rs 700 to Rs 800 respectively, he said. Punjab was supplying flour at market rates instead of official rate, however, the resumption of supply would help to overcome the ongoing flour crisis in NWFP, he added.
