"The pillars of our education system rest on the foundations laid by our respected educators and the role of teachers is vital in grooming the younger generation of the country" These views were expressed by Provincial Secretary Information and Culture Aoriya Maqbool Jan while addressing Fifth Teachers Convention organised by KFC here at a local hotel on Saturday.
He also applauded KFC's efforts in recognising the achievements made in this regard by the education-linked mentors of our nation. "Across the world, the teachers are revered for their nobility, endeavour and are kept in high esteem for their dedication," he said. He said KFC Teachers Convention 2008 was a venture that had set a standard of its own by honouring teachers.
The Chief Executive of Cupola Group of Companies Rafiq Ragoonwala in his message on the occasion said that teachers were the ones who possessed the key that unlocks each child's ability to maximise his full potential and inspire him to learn. He said that each and every accomplished man and woman of this country remained in indebted to his/her teacher.
