A team of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) visited Government Central Model High School Samanabad here on Wednesday as part of their awareness-spreading campaign against corrupt practices. Gp Captain Zaigham Tirmizi (Retd) delivered a lecture on the theme 'Corruption - a social evil' on the occasion.
School headmaster, teachers and a large number of students attended the lecture, which was followed by a question-answer session conducted by Sqn Ldr Karamt Ali Malik (Retd), Director Awareness and Prevention wing of NAB Punjab. According to a press release, the lecture aimed to enhance awareness among the youth about the evils of corruption and its detrimental impact on society, besides highlighting NAB efforts and accomplishments in its drive against corruption.
