It is matter of great pleasure and pride to write this message for "India chem. 2008", 5th biennial international Exhibition and Conference on chemicals, petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals scheduled from October 20-23 2008 at NSE Complex, Mumbai.
I am grateful to, department of chemicals and petrochemical & Department of Pharmaceuticals for their complex involvement and support in bring this event to a stage where we have large participation from around the globe and exclusive country pavilions of Japan, Germany, Italy, China, Belgium and France. We are also expecting visitors from more than 50 countries, which will be of immense benefit to the exhibiting companies.
Since its inception in the year 2000, the event has grown to perhaps the largest exhibition in Asia in the Concerned Sectors. It is now very much a part of the International calendar of exhibitions and conferences. Another Feature ie. CEO's conference with the Hon'ble Minister of Chemicals. Fertilisers and Steel has been a new Addition at this India Chem 2008.
Parallel events like the major 3 days conference, buyer-seller meets and networking functions will create the right atmosphere for exchange of ideas and for doing serious business. I wish the event all success.
