The Karachi Port handled 127,282 tonnes of cargo including 69,588 tonnes of import, 57,694 tonnes of export cargo and 4,204 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The freights comprised of 100,882 tonnes of dry cargo including 63,658 tonnes of general cargo; 11,972 tonnes of wheat; 4,389 tonnes of fertiliser; 12,918 tonnes of cement; 2,150 tonnes of rice; 5,795 tonnes of clinker and 26,400 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Cape Negro, Hyundai Highway and Bunga Kenari sailed out to sea during the reported period. Three vessels viz Hyundai Highway, Bunga Kenari and Chemroad Rose are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Chi Feng Kou, Red Sea Spirit, Island Spirit and Global Progress expected to sail on Friday while another two vessels viz Cosco Lian Yun Gang and Chemroad Rose are expected to sail on Saturday.
Five ships namely Gulf Tiger, City of Xiamen, King Brian, Sp 5-Eric G. Gibson and Soon Fu due to arrive on Friday while ten ships namely MMM Kingston, Cap George, Oel Peace, Csav Lonquimay, Empress Phoenix, Tower Bridge, Sima Pride, Ashraf-B, Blida and Banga Lanka are due to arrive on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 106,063 tonnes including 83,410 tonnes of import 32,653 tonnes of export cargo and 2,482 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Friday.
The cargoes comprised of 8,225 tonnes of wheat; 35,000 tonnes diesel oil; 2,224 tonnes of iron ore; 4,003 tonnes of coal; 19,222 tonnes phosphoric acid; 3,795 tonnes of cement; 1,017 tonnes project cargo and 32,577 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Three ships namely bulk cargo carrier RSZ Joy, container ship Hammurabi and oil tanker Al-Soor-II sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while another two ships namely CV CMA CGM Puget and MT Brisize Park expected to sail on Friday.
A total of fourteen ships namely Tian Hai, Karavados, Pacific Scorpio, Kolocap, Maria, Darya Radhe, Golden Beam Trader, Shafi, Vaafi, Agility, Thereat Taurus; Hammurabi, Belsize Park and Vola-1 carrying wheat, iron ore, palm oil, containers, phosphoric acid and rice respectively are currently at the outer anchorage. Nine vessels viz CV Hammurabi, CV CMA CGM Puget, MT Vancoure-II, MV Beluga Indication, MV RM Power, MT Transport, MT Al-Soor-II, MT Brisize Park and MV Shaffi are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, project cargo, wheat, diesel oil, phosphoric acid and iron ore respectively during the report period. Chemicals carrier MT Qem Star expected to take berth at Engro Terminal on Friday. Oil tanker MT Tian Jin carrying palm oil due to arrive on Friday.
