The Aga Khan University Hospital will hold a day-long 'Infection Control Seminar-cum-Workshop' on November 9, for all interested in 'Standard Infection Control Practices'. The program is being organised as a part of pre-conference activity of International Symposium of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
Topics to be covered during the seminar include Infection Control; Starting from Zero (Dr Altaf Ahmed), Problems in Infection Control in Public Sector Hospitals (Dr Shehla Baqi), Standard Precautions (Dr Faisal Mahmood); Nosocomial Infections and Surveillance (Dr Bushra Jamil), Standard precautions for injection safety (Dr Lubna Samad), Challenges of IC in resource limited countries (Dr Neelam Taneja), Issues and problems in IC (Interactive Slide session) by Dr Afia Zafar. Standard IC practices will also be demonstrated for the participants.
