The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK), on Wednesday announced the result of HSC Part I Science, both Pre-Engineering and General Groups annual Examinations, 2008. According to statistics, 20,071 candidates appeared in the Pre-Engineering Group Examinations. Of these 7,709 were successful in all the six papers, whereas 2,817 passed in five papers.
The number of candidates who passed in four papers was 2,729, 3,638 cleared three papers, 2,048 passed in two papers, and 924 cleared one paper only. In all, 14,572 candidates appeared in the Pre-Medical Group Examinations 2008.
Of these, 6,285 candidates were successful in all six papers, 2,020 passed in five papers, 2,025 cleared four papers, 2,003 passed in three papers, 1,339 passed in two papers, and 709 cleared one paper only.
The BIEK also declared the result of HSC Part I Science General Group Examinations 2008. A BIEK announcement said that the marks statements will be issued after two weeks.
