The University of Sindh has finalised all arrangements on Wednesday for holding 4-day 2nd Shaikh Ayaz International Conference on Language and Literature under auspicious of the Faculty of Arts from November, 07-10, 2008.
The meeting was presided over by Vice Chancellor of the University and Chief Patron of the Conference Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, which was attended by members of the organising committee and convenors of various committees the Dean faculty of Arts.
Chairman of the organising committee informed the meeting that 170 scholars from Country and abroad have confirmed their participation and sent abstracts of their papers. He informed that 110 scholars from different provinces and 28 scholars from abroad would be presenting their papers.
Dr Bughio has informed that among the foreigner scholars 13 scholar from India, 2 from Iran, One from Nepal, One from England, One from Saudi Arabia, One from France, One from Norway and One from USA will be attending the conference.
The Federal Minister for Environment Hameedullah Jan Afridi will inaugurate the conference while Vice Chancellors, noted intellectual's, Scholars, educationist from different parts of Country will also participating the inaugural session. The inaugural session of the conference will be held at Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium of the Arts Faculty building at Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro while other working sessions will be conducted at the building of the Institute of Art and Design.
