Japanese Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone on Friday condoled with the victims affected by the earthquake that hit various parts of Balochistan province causing immense loss of lives and property. In his message to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Japanese Foreign Minister said, "I was saddened to learn that an earthquake occurred in Balochistan province on October 29, causing a great loss of life."
He said, "I would like to extend my deepest sympathy for the victims and send my condolences to the bereaved families. I also pray for the early recovery of those injured." He expressed the hope that "the people of Pakistan will overcome this tragedy as soon as possible".
