Wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade were lower early Friday, following weak early trends in corn, soya and crude oil, traders said. As of 9:45 am CDT (1445 GMT), CBOT December wheat was down 8 cents at $5.30 per bushel. Kansas City Board of Trade December wheat was down 4-3/4 cents at $5.68-3/4 and Minneapolis Grain Exchange December spring wheat was down 5-1/2 cents at $6.41-1/2.
