A meeting of Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) would be held here on November 6 to review and approve various mega development projects worth billions.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is scheduled to chair the meeting for approval of various development projects including projects which have been referred by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) of the Planning Commission for the approval of the ECNEC, officials sources told APP here on Monday.
Federal Ministers, Chief Ministers and finance ministers of the four provinces, secretaries and senior officials of planning commission would also attend the meeting. The development projects to be reviewed and approved by ECNEC relate to different sectors including with focus on the development of Infrastructure, Physical Planning & Housing, Transport & Communication, Social, Production and Governance sectors.
