Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary General International Affairs Sheikh Kaiser Mehmood has strongly criticised expansion in federal cabinet especially inclusion of remnants of ex-dictator Pervez Musharraf in the cabinet. Mehmood said here on Tuesday that there is no logic for such a big cabinet in the face of economic problems confronted to the country.
Is big cabinet would prove solution of problems facing the country including poverty, price hike, unemployment, illiteracy, corruption, uncertainty and injustice, he questioned. He called for taking effective steps for steering the country out of economic crisis instead of further burdening national exchequer through such acts.
He said President Asif Ali Zardari has learnt no lesson from the tragic end of his predecessor and continues to tread his policies. He said that apologetic statements and feeble reaction by the government over continued missile attacks by the US forces couldn't stop foreign aggression in tribal areas.
The vice-president PML-N Lahore, Mian Zulfiqar Rathore said, "there is no difference in the policies of Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari." He said the US led allied forces are violating territorial integrity of Pakistan with impunity due to which sovereignty of the country remains a big question mark.
