150 agriculture students to join 'Grow More Wheat' campaign

Around 150 students of Arid Agriculture University would join hands with the provincial government's campaign to create awareness among farmers to enhance wheat production in the province. The Grow More Wheat Campaign launched under the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif is aimed at meeting the wheat targets.
The students would help create an atmosphere of practical application of knowledge obtained in classrooms and laboratories of the universities, an official at the university said here on Thursday. The official said the students would remain engaged for 15-day along with agriculture officers in different activities for the success of the campaign.
