Punjab Finance and Planning Development Minister, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira has said that a working group would be constituted to present the provincial government's stance in National Finance Commission (NFC), in which professionals and economists from private sector would be included. According to an official, he said this while presiding over a meeting on Thursday.
The Minister said a summary has been prepared to constitute an 11-member working group for NFC, while he himself would be its Chairman. He also said the working group would prepare recommendations on the stance to be adopted by Punjab government in the NFC.
'One Punjab Assembly member from all three political parties (Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League-N and Pakistan Muslim League-Q) would also be included in the working group,' he added.
'Saudi Arabia always helped Pakistan and now its leadership has assured Zardari of their full co-operation in this financial crisis. It has also agreed to provide oil facility on deferred payment. Zardari and his team are fully committed to overcoming the crises being faced by the country,' he added.
