Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Central Secretary Finance Muhammad Pervez Malik has said the decision to reinstate government employees who were removed during the PML-N government with full financial benefits is wrong and unwise.
Malik said here on Friday that national kitty is empty and decision like reinstatement of employees with full benefits and expansion of cabinet would only increase economic woes of the country, which is already facing financial crunch. 'People wanted restoration of deposed judges and not the government employees', he said.
Criticising the expansion in cabinet, he said the government should not put burden on national exchequer to achieve political objectives. He said wrong decisions and ill-conceived initiatives are spreading despondency among the masses that had voted in February 18 elections for change of system and not faces.
He said though Pervez Musharraf has been removed from power yet his policies are continuing, which is matter of grave concern for people of the country. He urged the federal government to review the decision regarding closure of markets/trade centres by 8.30 pm and said that load shedding had badly affected business community. He said effective steps should be taken for increasing power generation by utilising all resources instead of harassing traders.
