Formation of the 61-member cabinet of ministers and advisers is stark reflection on the insensitiveness of the ruling party and the government to the economic crisis the nation faces today. Foreign exchange reserves are record low. Trade deficit has reached alarming levels and exports are dwindling. Industry is in shambles. Inflation is high and unemployment is increasing.
But, instead of addressing these issues, the government is continuously increasing its non-development expenditure manifold, overburdening the masses.
