Information Secretary Multan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Dr M. Hussain has said that all necessary arrangements to organise a debate and essay competition to highlight the creative abilities of the students have been finalised on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
Telling the details of the programme, he said that the schedule of primary and middle level competitions on district level would start from November 13 and would continue till November 16. The prize distribution ceremony of this competition would be held on November 17 in which the local provincial ministers would be the chief guest.
He further said that the students who would be successful in district level competition would be eligible to compete in Tehsil level competition. The Tehsil level competition would continue from November 18 to December 2 and prize distribution ceremony would be held on December 3. The local MPAs and MNAs would be the chief guests in prize distribution ceremony.
The district level competition would continue from December 2 to December 20 whereas division level competition would be held from January 1 to January 21. "The winners of Tehsil level competition would compete in district level and those of district level winners would compete in division level competition", he added.
He further told that Muhammad Javed Siddique has been appointed the monitoring officer of district Multan, Hafiz Fida Husain of district Lodhran, Shiekh Muhammad Amin of Sahiwal, Muhammad Ilyas Siddiqui of Khanewal, Nazir Khalid Paracha of Pakpattan and Salim Raza Baloch of Vehari.
Dr Hussain also urged the principals of all the institutions to ensure the maximum participation of students in these competitions. Moreover the private school students can also participate in these competitions.
