Training of farm management cadets under Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme (BBSYDP) to develop the skills of trainees from Naushehro Feroze district started at Research and Training Institute (RTI) for Livestock Development, Red Sindhi Cattle Breeding Farm, Tando Muhammad Khan.
The Director Animal Husbandry Sindh Dr Ghulam Sarwar Shaikh while opening the training advised the participants to take personal interest to learn more and more about farm management practices. He said that livestock sector is progressing very rapidly and there are more chances for employment in and outside the country. Livestock and fisheries departments have launched skill development programme under Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme costing Rs 282.446 million. Dr Ghulam Sarwar Shaikh said that under this project 3,200 trainees will be imparted theoretically and hands on training in animal husbandry, poultry and fisheries. He further said that every effort will be taken to make this project successful.
