The Foreign Minister, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that he will leave for the USA on Monday (today) to attend the International Inter-Faith Conference to be held there in the second week of November.
In a brief talk with the media persons at Multan airport minutes before his departure for Islamabad on Sunday, Qureshi said that the Inter-Faith Conference will be chaired by the Saudi King, Shah Abdullah and will be attended by delegates and heads of the states from across the world.
He said that the conference would be a good opportunity to dispel misunderstandings among the people belonging to different faiths, promote unity and solidarity among them and will also help solve problems confronting the region.
