Three Senators from Balochistan filed a resolution in the Senate Secretariat demanding that a treason case should be registered against former president General Pervez Musharraf (Retd) for abrogating the constitution and ordering the killing of Akbar Khan Bugti the former chief of Jamhori Watan Party (JWP).
The resolution was moved by Shahid Hasan Bugti and supported by two other Senators from Balochistan called for high treason case against the former ruler for subverting the Constitution in 1999 when he toppled the elected government. Musharraf should also be accountable for ordering the killing of Akbar Khan Bugti, who was killed in apparent military action in 2006.
