Senior Minister Punjab, Raja Riaz Ahmad has asked the Farmer Organisations (FOs) to mobilise the farming community for the payment of 'Abiana' well in time. He added that the government is protecting the rights of the farmers by repairing and maintenance of vast irrigation infrastructure in the province, as canals' network is pivotal in increasing agricultural productivity.
He was presiding over a meeting regarding payment of 'Abiana' at irrigation department, here on Monday.
