The Founders group will ensure maximum reduction in the service charges at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) if they win the annual elections to be held on November 18 and 19.
In a statement here on Tuesday, Founders' Chairman Munir Ahmed Khan said the ruling group was charging heavily for services in areas like visa fee, certificate of origin and verification of invoices etc, which was disturbing the business community's dealing of their day to day affairs.
He asserted that the Founders would bring a drastic cut in those charges to facilitate business, as the prime objective of a forum like LCCI should be facilitation of the entire business fraternity, and its members in particular.
Munir observed that the group was fielding qualified candidates who were experts in their fields and can be relied upon to effectively convince and assist the government in making business friendly policies. The Founders' candidates were going door to door to reach out to each and every member of the Chamber, he added.
