The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday adjourned for November 14 the hearing of more than 100 petitions of industrial and textile units challenging increased tariff of electricity and directed Lesco counsel to submit his written arguments. The court also directed Lesco and petitioners to make efforts to adopt recourse and inform the court next hearing.
The court had allowed Nepra to issue notification of fresh electricity tariff, however, restricted it from implementing the same to the extent of over 100 petitioners-textile mills and industrial units.
