Government has appointed Dr Asim Hussain as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources (PNR) with the Status of Federal Minister, Cabinet Division announced on Tuesday, according to a notification issued here in this regard. Dr Asim was earlier working as Chairman National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB).
He holds the charge of Advisor to the Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources and held a meeting with officials of Petroleum Ministry. He also headed the committee that was formed to review the oil pricing formula.
