PIA airlifts relief goods free of charge

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has so far airlifted 46,393 kilograms of relief supplies free of cost for the earthquake affected people of Balochistan from the airline's various domestic and international destinations. According to a PIA news release here on Thursday, the freight charges of the relief goods, which PIA has transported free of cost would have been Rs 3.42 million.
The PIA employees have already contributed their one-day's salary amounting to Rs 11.6 million for the earthquake affected people of Balochistan. The airline's airlifting of relief goods would continue free of charge till it is required.
