Governor NWFP Owais Ahmed Ghani has strongly condemned kidnapping of Iranian Commercial Attache and killing of his gunman in Peshawar on Thursday and has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the tragic incident. In a condolence message issued here, the governor has described the incident as an outraging act and said culprits involved in it would be hunted down and brought to justice.
He assured to make every effort to ensure safe recovery of the diplomat. Such type of incidents also tend to damage our national interests, which indeed is an in-tolerable situation, he remarked. While expressing his deep sympathies with the members of the bereaved family of deceased guard, the governor has prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and courage and patience to bear the irreparable loss.
