Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited held a workshop for its industrial customers, in Lahore, to apprise them of the new developments that are taking place in the PVC industry in the world and the arrival of new products in the market.
The workshop titled, "PVC Product Awareness Workshop", included a briefing on PVC doors and windows. PVC lead free pipes, PVC for water conservation and for tunnel farming by Shahnawaz Khan (Market Development Officer Punjab). Zulifqar Hussian Zahidi, (Technical Services Officer), trained the participants on standard methods of PVC pipe plumping while Zubair Ashraf, (Advisor Technical Services), informed the participants about the new Calcium-zinc based Lead-free pipes.
This interactive session included hands on training of local plumbers on proper fixation of PVC/CPVC pipes in household plumbing and water supply projects. Various jointing methods were elaborated to the participants along with laying and installation techniques.
