Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures opened lower Friday as they followed lower in crude oil prices and a falling US stock market, traders said. Weak exports also weighed on sentiment. Soyabean and corn futures were likewise lower.
CBOT December wheat was down 4-1/2 cents at $5.33-3/4 per bushel in early trading, with December corn off 3-1/2 cents at $3.73-1/2 and November soyabeans down 12 cents at $8.75 a bushel.
