'The PPP is the savior party of the country and we would continue our struggle for the welfare of the people and protection of the country,' Punjab Minister for Population Welfare, Neelam Jabbar Chaudhry said.
She was addressing the party workers at her residence on Sunday. Neelam said that some elements outside the Parliament are hatching conspiracy to damage the smooth political process and the democratic institution in the garb of attractive slogans, however, people would foil the evil designs of such elements.
Recalling the political will of late Benazir Bhutto, Neelam said, 'The PPP will stand hard against any danger, if the country and the people face in future.'
Further, 'The party would continue to fight against extremism, ignorance and poverty.' the Minister said adding that the party workers have dedicated themselves to the ideals for which, Shaheed Benazir struggled for and laid down her life.
She also appreciated the enthusiasm of party workers said that the PPP would continue the journey of sacrifices, which was late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto started by sacrificing his own life.
'The PPP believed in the power of the people has brought the national politics out of drawing rooms to the public,' Neelam said. Furthermore, the PPP would maintain the rule of law and ensure people's sovereignty, she said claiming that the party has promoted real democracy in Pakistan.
Punjab Minister vowed to follow the footsteps of the late PPP chairperson said that Benazir set an example of working for the cause of social, economic and political welfare by her continuous efforts and hard work.
