The Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, (UVAS), Lahore, arranged a three-day workshop on "Team Building and Change Management" for the senior professionals of the Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab.
Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha inaugurated the workshop on Tuesday, which will continue till Thursday. Twenty-five senior professionals from across the Punjab are participating in the workshop.
The objective of the workshop is professional skill up gradation in the field of livestock by enhancing their efficiency through imparting them team building skills, equipping them with the skills for human resource management to better manage the process of change in facilitation of stakeholders of livestock sector.
The major topics covered on Tuesday included "Team dynamics and building the team", "Managing successful teams and effective team decision making" and "How to maintain valuable team members (Effective interpersonal skills and managing tam conflicts."
The topics "Why manage change," "Creating change management strategy," "Public sector change management," "Preparing change Management teams," "Becoming a change agent," "Managing performance during consequences of change" and "Debriefing & discussion."
Competent resource persons from educational institutions and corporate sector have been hired to conduct this workshop. The Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management has started a series of workshops for professional development of the livestock professionals in the country.
