Ambassador of Bahrain to Pakistan Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqader has said that a lot of employment opportunities are available for highly skilled Pakistani workforce in public as well as private sector of Bahrain. He was talking to Chairman of National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (Navtec) Adnan A Khwaja, who called on him at Bahrain Embassy here on Thursday.
The ambassador said the Pakistani workforce working in Bahrain was good in number, but still there was a scope for absorption of properly trained Pakistani manpower in various sectors, including construction, services, banking and health.
He said that many Pakistanis were enjoying good status and reputation in Bahrain in sectors like banking, police, intelligence and navy. He, however, said that employment opportunities for skilled Pakistani women like doctors, nurses, bankers and the security women were comparatively high. "Pakistan is a brotherly Muslim country and we consider it at par with our neighbouring Middle Eastern states", he added.
The Navtec Chairman, who met with the Ambassador under the advice of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, informed Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqader that the Navtec, under a comprehensive strategy, was producing highly skilled workforce through Navtec-sponsored technical training courses.-PR
